- General
The Monte Cucco International Trophy 2018 is an international event included in the FAI category 2 calendar .
The organizer is AeC Lega Piloti in collaboration with VoloLiberoMonteCucco.

02. Place
Flying area: Sigillo (PG).
Operations Center: Hostel of free flight located in Frazione Villa Scirca, 06028 Sigillo (Italy)

03. Period
The race will take place from august 10 to august 14 2018.
04. Validation and ranking
The following rankings will be drawn :
Hang Gliding Class 1 OPEN
Hang Gliding Female Class 1 (with at least 3 participants)
Hang Gliding Sport Class (with at least 3 participants)
05. Participants
The registration of 50% of Italian pilots will be guaranteed. The maximum number of participants is 100 pilots.
06. Registration
The pre-registration will take tart on the web site: http://www.flafly.net/legapilotidelta/ before 20:00 of Thursday, august 10, 2018. Registration must be confirmed at the Operations Centre Sunday, Friday 10 morning before 12 am .
07. Registration fee and payment
The registration fee is fixed in € 120.00 and includes:
• 1 dinner offered by the organization.
• T-shirt.
• Bag of food for all days of competition.
• Aid for safety with ambulance on race days.
Only if not held any valid task it will be returned to each driver registered 50% of the registration fee.
The organization will not provide any shuttle service for retrieval. Each pilot will have to organize themselves.
The organization can only try to make pilots to get in touch with some local shuttle drivers who could provide this service for a fee. The pilots who want to use this service must notify the organization at least 15 days before the start of the Championship.
08. Award
Prizes will be awarded:
1st place
2nd place
3rd place
To collect their prizes, the pilots must be present at the awards ceremony that will be held at the end of the final dinner.
We do not accept proxies. Not collected prizes will remain the organization.
09. Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted by 9.00 am the day after the publication of the provisional ranking or within 30 minutes of the publication of the final general classification.
10. Operations Center and Regularization participation

As requited for national competitions and according to FAI / CIVL regulations the following requirement must be met :
• Pilot license
• FAI Card
• Payment of the registration fee
• RCT insurance (policy number and insurance company)
Note: All documents must be valid
• You MUST use approved helmet (EN 966).
• You MUST, for safety, have a VHF radio tuned to the frequencies set by the organization.
• Every pilot must use a device for live tracking set with a sampling rate of at least 2 seconds. Every pilot, upon registration confirmation must notify their LIVETRACK24 ( www.livetrack24 .com ) account to the organizers, if not already done previously via email.
11. GPS, Software and Scoring System
Thanks will be downloaded using GPSDump software while for the scoring system FS (fs.fai.org) will be used
The GPS must record the flight altitude, both GPS and barometric.
It is up to the pilot to provide a cable with your computer to fit the organization.
WGS84 datum will be used.
12. RESPONSIBILITY 'AND INSURANCE
AeC Lega Piloti and VoloLiberoMonteCucco (and all other participants in the organization) assume no responsibility for damage to persons or property which may arise in the course of the competition. During registration the pilot will be ask to sign a responsibility declaration.
13. SCORING
The Italian AeCI regulation and the GAP scoring system will be used. Livetracking devices will also be used ad track loggers.

15. PROGRAM "ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2017"
The program could be modified depending on weather conditions or organizational reasons
Any changes will be published in the official notice board at the operations center.
Friday 10 august
The Italian hang-gliding Championship in 2017 opens Friday, august 10 with the registration of
Pilots at the Operating Centre located at the Hostel of the Free Flight in Villa Scirca - 06028 Sigillo PG, from 09.00 to 12.00.
It will be delivered to each pilot the competition program, the Regulation, a T-shirt to commemorate the event.
Following the appointment of the Committee on Safety and competition consisting of three riders each.

13:05 Opening takeoffs free.
Saturday august 11
10:00 Briefing at the operations center.
12:00 Briefing at the takeoff and presentation of the task.
12:30 -14: 30 opening window and takeoffs.
After landing, the pilots will have to bring the GPS at the Operations Centre within the 18.30 where they will be downloaded tracks.
20:30 Publication charts.
Sunday august 12
10:00 Briefing at the operations center.
12:00 Briefing at the takeoff and presentation of the task.
